Content Policy Agreement for Producer Uploads

By uploading content to BCCTV, I (“Producer”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Producer Responsibility

I affirm that I am the creator of the submitted content or have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, and licenses to submit and distribute it. I accept full responsibility for the content I upload.

2. Copyright and Intellectual Property

I certify that the submitted program:

• Does not infringe on any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  

• Includes only music, video, images, or performances that I own or have permission to use
  

• Complies with all applicable copyright laws
  

I understand that copyrighted material used without permission may result in removal of the content and suspension of upload privileges.

3. Prohibited Content

I agree not to submit content that includes:

• Obscene material as defined by federal law
  

• Explicit sexual conduct involving minors
  

• Incitement to violence or imminent lawless action
  

• True threats against individuals or groups
  

• Content that is defamatory or knowingly false
  

• Commercial advertising
  
  

4. Indecent or Adult Content

I understand that content containing strong language, sexual themes, or graphic violence may be subject to:

• Time-of-day restrictions
  

• Content advisories
  

• Rejection or editing at the station’s discretion
  
  

5. Compliance with FCC and Local Regulations

I acknowledge that all submitted content must comply with:

• Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations
  

• State and local laws
  

• BCCTV policies and community standards
  
  

6. Station Rights

I grant BCCTV a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Broadcast the submitted content on its channels
  

• Stream the content online
  

• Promote the program using excerpts or still images
  

This license remains in effect unless the content is withdrawn in accordance with station policy.

7. Review and Removal

I understand that BCCTV:

• Does not censor content prior to airing unless required
  

• Reserves the right to refuse, delay, or remove content that violates this agreement
  

• Is not responsible for the views or opinions expressed in producer programming
  
  

8. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless BCCTV, its staff, volunteers, and governing bodies from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from my submitted content.

9. Acceptance

By uploading content, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this Content Policy Agreement.
